Why The New Hope, Pennsylvania Ride?

was a fellow club member whose life was tragically
taken in defense of his camera and bicycle! The
trek out to New Hope, Pennsylvania was the last ride he
attended with L&M before his life was so needlessly
taken. The annual ride was renamed in his honor and has
become the club's unity ride
of the season. He will always be remembered and honored
as a good natured and loyal member of our cycling club.
May you rest in peace and bring us sunny day's for your
ride!
(This is our best-attended ride.) The trek to New Hope is a very popular destination for cycling clubs in the New York tri-state area. Why is this ride so popular for our club? Our route is basically flat, three-part stops/returns and great camaraderie.
